The Supreme Court issued a detailed decision on the automatic notice of Punjab and Pakhtunkhwa elections

The Supreme Court issued a detailed decision regarding the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The judgment of the automatic notice case is a 43-page judgment written by Justice Muneeb Akhtar, 14 pages of dissenting notices have also been included in the judgment.

It has been said in the decision that it is absolutely wrong to call the decision of the Supreme Court as 4 and 3. If a seven-member bench is not formed, then how can there be a ratio of 4 and 3? A larger bench was formed.

The nine-judge larger bench held its first hearing on February 23 and then met in the tea room, in which the nine-judge bench delivered a unanimous verdict on February 27, the bench said in a detailed judgment.

Reference was made to the reconstitution order. According to the decision, the Chief Justice constituted only two benches of nine and then five members on the issue of elections, there is no other bench in the case.

In the judgment, it is further written that the opinion regarding the decision by the ratio of four to three is not valid.
