Kabul: The government of the Taliban in Afghanistan has started the process of extracting oil from the wells in the north of the country.

According to the official media of Afghanistan, Bukhtar News Agency, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Sheikh Shahabuddin Dilawar addressed the ceremony.

He said that priority will be given to the employment of technical and non-technical staff for oil production, while the income of Sirpul province will be used for the reconstruction of the mine.

In addition to Sheikh Shahabuddin Dilawar, many senior members of the Taliban were also present in the ceremony. who inaugurated wells in the Qashqari oil field in Sir Pul province.

On the other hand, Kabul Times, citing a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, reported that there are 10 wells in the Qashqari basin and nine have produced 200 tons of oil. is going.
