The Islamabad High Court stopped the trial court from pronouncing the final verdict in the 190 million pound case against founder PTI and Bushra Bibi.
The acquittal petitions of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pound case were heard in the High Court. Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the petitions with objections from the Registrar’s Office.
Founder PTI and Bushra Bibi pleaded for acquittal in the case and said that the trial court should be restrained from proceeding with the trial while the case is pending in the High Court.
The Islamabad High Court stopped the trial court from passing the final verdict on the 190 million pound case and asked the trial court to complete the trial but not give the final verdict.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 26 while issuing a notice to NAB on the plea of acquittal of founder PTI and Bushra Bibi.
