Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the trial of the planners and organizers of May 9 has started.
According to the ISPR statement, Army Chief Asim Munir visited Lahore, laid flowers at the martyrs’ memorial, and was briefed on May 9 Black Day events.
According to ISPR, during the meeting, tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
On this occasion, the Army Chief said that legal action has been initiated under the Army Act against those responsible for the May 9 tragedy.
General Asim Munir also visited Jinnah House and a military installation and said that the strength of Pakistan is its people, trying to create a rift between the army and the people is an act against the state.
