
In Karachi, the US dollar is experiencing a continued decline in value against the Pakistani rupee. During Tuesday, both the interbank and open currency markets witnessed a decrease in the dollar’s exchange rate.
In the interbank market, on the second day of the business week, the US dollar’s value dropped by 08 paise, bringing it down to 289 rupees and 78 paise. Subsequently, this downward trend persisted, with the dollar declining by one rupee and 22 paise to reach 289 rupees and 64 paisa by noon.
Simultaneously, in the open currency market, the US dollar depreciated by one rupee, settling at 292 rupees.
Conversely, the Pakistan Stock Exchange is experiencing a bullish trend today. On Tuesday, the PSX initiated the trading day with a gain of 64 points, causing the KSE 100 index to reach a level of 46,457 points.
