Sources within the Ministry of Finance indicate that discussions with the IMF mission will encompass the letter of intent, finalization of the draft Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies, and, upon successful negotiations, the establishment of a staff level agreement between Pakistan and the IMF.
Authorities confirm that Pakistan has successfully met the IMF’s quarterly targets, showcasing the government’s prompt and sincere efforts in achieving these goals. Furthermore, the IMF has given assurances regarding the continuation of economic reforms.
