Today in Lahore, there will be no issuance of fines for traffic rule violations, as stated by Lahore’s Chief Traffic Officer, Amara Athar. Instead, citizens will receive warnings aimed at raising awareness about adhering to traffic regulations.
Amara Athar emphasizes that Education Day aims to familiarize citizens with the law, and the purpose of fines is to highlight errors and encourage compliance. To mark Education Day, special awareness camps will be set up on Mall Road, Jail Road, and Ferozepur Road. Traffic wardens, including female wardens, will actively engage with citizens to educate them on traffic rules and regulations.
