California-based technology company Meta has unveiled a web edition of its social media platform Threads, which was introduced last month. The company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, shared the news about this new feature in a Threads post on Tuesday.
Zuckerberg stated that Threads users will now have the capability to access the microblogging platform via their computer browsers. This web-based version will be accessible to users within the upcoming days.
The incorporation of this feature into the platform will enable brands, corporate accounts, advertisers, and journalists to utilize Threads, facilitating users in utilizing the platform on larger screens.
Threads, which garnered over 100 million accounts within five days of its launch on July 5, experienced a decrease in its popularity lately as users shifted back to the X social networking platform (previously known as Twitter) following their initial experience with Threads.
