Today, the second One Day International (ODI) of the series between Pakistan and Afghanistan is set to take place. The two teams will go head-to-head in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, with the match scheduled to commence at 2:30 pm as per Pakistan time.
In the inaugural match of the series, Pakistan emerged victorious over the Afghan squad with an impressive margin of 142 runs.
Both teams are engaged in this series as part of their preparation for upcoming major tournaments such as the Asia Cup and the World Cup. All three matches of the series are being hosted by the Afghan cricket board in Sri Lanka.
Historically, Pakistan and Afghanistan have met on four occasions in ODIs, with Pakistan emerging triumphant in all four matches.
