In Islamabad, the Chairman of the PTI has requested the Islamabad High Court to withdraw the appeal against the Election Commission’s decision from October 21, 2022, in the Tosha Khana case. Chief Justice Amir Farooq reserved the verdict following the presentation of arguments.
It is worth noting that the Election Commission had disqualified and removed the Chairman PTI on October 21, 2022. Additionally, as part of the same decision, a criminal complaint was forwarded to the Sessions Court. Subsequently, the Chairman of PTI was convicted on August 5 in connection with the complaint from the same criminal proceedings.
