
LAHORE: PSL director Sohaib Sheikh and head of women’s cricket Tania Malik have resigned from their posts.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, both have resigned due to new opportunities in their careers. Sahib Sheikh served in PCB from 2016 to 2019 while he rejoined PCB a year ago, Tania Malik joined Pakistan Cricket Board in October 2021.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer said that Sahib Sheikh and Tania Malik were key members of the PCB management team who rendered meaningful services to the organization.
Salman Naseer said that Sahib Sheikh was part of the core team that launched the HBLPSL in 2016 and successfully delivered four seasons.
He said that Tania Malik worked with dedication to promote women’s cricket in Pakistan, her efforts were also recognized by ICC, PCB appreciated the hard work, dedication and contribution of Sahib Sheikh and Tania Malik. and wishes both for success.
