US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken met with President Xi Jinping during which it was agreed to restore and stabilize relations to end tensions between the two countries.
According to the World News Agency, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken arrived in Beijing yesterday on a two-day official visit and today he had an important meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This is the first direct meeting between the Chinese president and any top US official since 2018. During the meeting, China and the US emphasized that instead of getting into conflicts, the two countries should work together to stabilize relations.
On this occasion, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that progress has been made in some cases and an agreement has been reached on some. it’s awesome.
In response, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that both countries are aware of their responsibilities to strengthen their relations.
The US is committed to doing the same. No major progress was made during US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken’s visit to China, but more senior US officials are expected to visit China in the coming weeks.
