In Islamabad, General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, undertook a visit to Awaran district in Balochistan, where he received a detailed briefing on the security situation.
The briefing highlighted the Pakistan Army’s endeavors in fostering socio-economic development and enhancing agricultural capabilities within the province.
During his interaction with local elders, farmers, and families of the fallen soldiers, General Munir expressed profound admiration for the sacrifices made by the martyrs and assured continued support from the army for the community’s safety and welfare. Emphasizing the significance of agriculture, the Army Chief pledged unwavering commitment to the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) while affirming plans to provide comprehensive agricultural facilities to empower farmers and foster developmental partnerships.
Subsequently, General Munir inaugurated the Cadet College Awaran, commending its establishment as another milestone for Balochistan’s educational landscape. He underscored the Pakistan Army’s steadfast dedication to collaborative development and relief efforts in Balochistan, stressing that the province’s prosperity is integral to Pakistan’s overall success.
General Munir reiterated the nation’s pride in Balochistan’s resilience against adversities, reaffirming the armed forces’ and law enforcement agencies’ continued support for the region’s peace and prosperity endeavors.
