WhatsApp introduced 60 second video message in chat

WhatsApp users in Menlo Park can now send 60-second video messages just like they do with voice messages. When a 60-second video is received in a chat, it will play silently until the recipient touches it to hear the sound.

This new feature makes sending video messages as easy as recording voice messages. WhatsApp has shared the details and an illustrative image of the feature in an official blog post, including instructions on how to send video clips.

To record a video message, users need to press and hold the voice message icon while the app is in video mode. Additionally, the video message can be locked for hands-free recording. This feature will be rolled out worldwide in the coming days.
