Karachi: Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, equated the threat posed by Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi and Australia’s Mitchell Starc, describing both as equally formidable adversaries on the cricket field.
When asked to decide between the two bowlers’ challenges, Sharma lauded their respective talents, emphasizing their potential to be highly dangerous with the new ball. He highlighted their ability to generate quick swing, which can pose significant difficulties for batsmen.
Sharma was posed with several personal preference questions. When asked to pick a favorite World Cup victory between 1983 and 2011, he diplomatically opted for both, acknowledging the significance of both moments. In terms of his favored shot, Sharma leaned towards the “pull shot” over the cover drive. Similarly, when it came to choosing between staying up late at night or waking up early in the morning, Sharma opted for the latter.
