Bollywood diva superstar Deepika Padukone did not attend the launch event of her upcoming mega film ‘Project K’ which was held on the sidelines of the San Diego Comic Con Festival.
According to media sources, the actress decided not to participate in the event due to the ongoing strike by writers and artists in Hollywood, as she herself is a member of this organization in America.
On the occasion of San Diego Comic Con Festival, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan released the official title and trailer of the film ‘Project K’ and also announced the release date of the film.
According to the sources, SAG-AFTRA, the representative organization of actors in Hollywood, has obliged its members that they will not participate in the promotional campaign of any film during the strike.
Not only Deepika Padukone has expressed solidarity with Hollywood on behalf of India, but Priyanka Chopra has also announced her full support for the strike.
