Mumbai: Actress Zaira Wasim, who left the showbiz industry in 2019 for Islam, has come forward to support women who eat in niqab.
A user on Twitter has shared a picture in his tweet in which a woman is eating with a niqab and at the same time mocking the niqab with the caption Is it a human choice?
Responding to this tweet, Zaira Wasim wrote that she also attended the wedding and ate in the same way and it was entirely her choice.
He further wrote that the people around me gave me a signal to remove the niqab but I did not remove the niqab and we do not do this niqab for you people.
It should be noted that Zaira Wasem started her showbiz career with Superstar Aamir Khan’s movie Dangal and she also worked with Aamir in Secret Superstar which gave her worldwide fame.
