ISLAMABAD: PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar escaped from H8 Court after being denied bail in the May 9 arson case.
According to Express News, bail applications were heard in the district and sessions court against Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar in the case filed in Tarnool police station.
Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas supra, while giving a reserved judgment on the petitions, dismissed the bail pleas of Asad Umar, Asad Qaiser and Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar managed to evade arrest when the bail was rejected and immediately the two leaders escaped from F8 Kachhari in the same car.
The video of their escape has surfaced in which it can be seen that the two leaders hurriedly got into the car and left immediately.
