The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for the bail applications of the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Islamabad.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa has formed a bench specifically for this purpose, focusing on the cipher case. The three-member bench, led by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and including Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Ayesha Malik, will convene on November 22 to deliberate on the appeals.
The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf had previously lodged an appeal in the Supreme Court seeking bail in the cipher case and contested the indictment proceedings. The legal team representing the Chairman has been notified by the registrar’s office about this development.
