Foreign Minister and Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will contest the National Assembly elections in Punjab from Rahim Yar Khan.
According to the sources, former governor of Punjab and President of People’s Party South Punjab Ahmed Mehmood had invited Bilawal Bhutto to stand in the elections from Rahim Yar Khan.
Bilawal Bhutto invitation to Ahmed Mahmood to contest election from Rahim Yar Khan was accepted. Sources say that the announcement of Bilawal’s candidacy from Rahim Yar Khan will be made along with the election schedule.
In this regard, former President Asif Ali Zardari has also supported Bilawal to contest the election from Rahim Yar Khan. It should be noted that along with Ahmed Mehmood, his close associates Hamid Saeed Kazmi and Qutb Fareed Koreja have also been elected members of the National Assembly from this constituency.
