Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has had an important meeting with Chief of General Staff (CGS) of British Army General Patrick Nicholls, the meeting was held at General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, CGS General Patrick Nicholls of the British Army laid flowers on the martyrs’ memorial on his arrival at GHQ, while the armed forces of the Pakistan Army presented him with a guard of honour.
According to ISPR, regional security and matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting between Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and General Patrick. British CGS General Patrick Nicholls appreciated the sacrifices of Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism and efforts for peace and stability in the region.
According to ISPR, before meeting Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, General Patrick Nichols also met Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad at GHQ.
