ISLAMABAD The Supreme Court again rejected PTI president’s request to stop the Tosha Khana trial.
A three- member bench headed by Justice Yahya Afridi heard the case in the Supreme Court.
Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that we had given the relief you asked for. It’s surprising that you still approached the Supreme Court. When is the case listed in the High Court?
The petitioner’s counsel replied that the case is listed for hearing hereafter in the High Court, the main question is governance.
Justice Yahya Afridi said that your solicitation had come ineffective, yet we heard and gave the order, we understand the situation, we wrote in the decree that the High Court should hear the desires together, the relief you’re seeking may be decided by the High Court. Let the High Court decide first.
The petitioner’s counsel said that the High Court didn’t issue an instruction, so they’ve come to the Supreme Court. Justice Yahya Afridi said that if you don’t get relief, also the case is pending in the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court again rejected the request to stop the Tosha Khana trial.
Justice Yahya Afridi said that we can not intrude in the proceedings of the trial court at this time, when the Islamabad High Court has not given any order, how can we hear the case, you approached the Supreme Court without an order.
The court issued a notice to the Election Commission and suspended the hail till 1130 on Friday. The court said let the Islamabad High Court decide first.
