In both global and local markets, the cost of gold has witnessed an uptick. Internationally, the gold price climbed by $5 per ounce, reaching a new value of $2,470 per ounce.
Meanwhile, in the local exchange markets, the price of 24-carat gold surged by Rs 500 per tola on Tuesday, settling at Rs 2,15,200. Similarly, the cost of gold per 10 grams in the country experienced an increase of Rs. 429, now standing at Rs. 1,84,500.
Contrary to the ascent in gold prices, silver rates remained stable. In the local market, silver is holding steady at Rs 2,600 per tola and Rs 2,229.08 per 10 grams of silver.
It’s worth noting that the preceding day witnessed a decline in gold prices both globally and locally.
