The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court expressed frustration upon the presentation of the Ministry of Interior’s report at the outset of the hearing.
The Joint Secretary of Interior appeared in court and stated that X had been closed based on security agency reports. In response, the Chief Justice questioned the validity of relying solely on verbal reports, emphasizing the need for documented evidence. He further expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of proper files or details provided. The Chief Justice suggested that the Secretary or Joint Secretary should ensure all information is documented and supported with relevant documents, rather than relying on verbal exchanges.
