The Lahore High Court has taken the decision to place 24 session judges on the Officers on Special Duty (OSD) list. Following the approval of the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, a notification has been issued regarding the appointment of these OSDs to the Sessions Judges.
As per the notification, starting from September 29, 24 District and Sessions Judges who were awaiting appointments will assume OSD roles in their respective districts. Here are some of the appointments:
- District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ibrahim Asghar has been designated as OSD in Leh.
- District and Sessions Judge Khalid Arshad will serve as OSD in Khushab.
- District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Zulfiqar Lone has been appointed to Nankana Sahib.
- Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh will take on the role of OSD in DG Khan.
- Shahid Islam has been assigned to Bhakkar.
- Abdul Rahim will serve as OSD in DG Khan.
- Bakht Fakhr Behzad has been appointed as OSD in Lahore.
- Wasimur Rahman Khan will take up the position of OSD in Rajanpur.
- District and Sessions Judge Amjad Nazir Chaudhry will assume the OSD role in Chiniot.
- Muhammad Asghar Khan has been designated for Mandi Bahauddin.
- Muhammad Shabbir will serve as OSD in Pakpattan.
- Ghaffar Mehtab has been assigned to Toba Tek Singh.
- Ali Nawaz will take up his duties as OSD in Rawalpindi.
- Shahida Saeed has been designated for Sheikhupura.
- Muhammad Abbas will serve as OSD in Muzaffargarh.
- Ziaullah Khan will assume responsibilities in Jhelum.
- Qamar Sultan has been posted as OSD in Jhelum.
- Rana Zahid Iqbal will take up his role in Gujranwala.
- Muhammad Aslam has been assigned to Lahore.
- Hamid Hussain will serve as OSD in Rawalpindi.
- Ijaz Ahmed Buttar has been designated for Lahore.
- Abd Razzaq will assume responsibilities in Rawalpindi.
- Aamir Saleem Rana has been assigned to Rawalpindi
