Expressing full confidence in Najam Sethi on behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he was nominated as a candidate for the chairmanship of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to sources, Chairman PCB Najam Sethi met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today.
During the meeting, Najam Sethi briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on various issues of Pakistan Cricket Board.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal were also present in the meeting.
Najam Sethi informed the Prime Minister about the steps taken by PCB for the revival of domestic cricket.
In the meeting, Pakistan cricket team’s participation in international tournaments was also discussed.
Along with this, a consultation was also held regarding the Asia Cup to be held this year.
According to the sources, the Prime Minister directed Najam Sethi to complete the elections of PCB Chairman soon and also nominated Najam Sethi as a candidate for PCB Chairman. Sources say
