PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat Advocate alleged that the KP Police attempted to abduct him while he was discussing the ongoing PTI conventions in KPK.
Speaking at the Islamabad High Court, Marwat criticized the appointed IG under the caretaker government, citing ongoing abuses across the province. He accused the IG, Thanedar, and DPO of infringing upon people’s rights. Marwat claimed that the KPK police had become unruly, mentioning an attempted kidnapping without any existing case against him in Dir district. Additionally, he highlighted difficulties in traveling to Kohat due to roadblocks, stating that four of his colleagues were arrested, facing charges for government interference.
