Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, being the daughter of her father Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, used to go on foreign trips with her father as a child. Benazir Bhutto met many world leaders at an early age.

Along with her mother, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, she resisted the dictatorship of General Zia and was imprisoned. In 1982, Benazir Bhutto was elected as the chairperson of the People’s Party.
