LAHORE Punjab Acting Governor Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has inked the vilification Bill passed by the Provincial Assembly into law and will come into force after review announcement.
After the blessing of the Punjab Assembly, the vilification Bill( vilification) was staying for the hand of the Governor of Punjab for several days because the Governor of Punjab Saleem Haider had expressed reservations regarding the signing of the vilification Bill.
After Governor Punjab Salim Haider’s departure abroad, Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan inked the vilification bill as Acting Governor. gave
It should be noted that the vilification bill will come into force after the review announcement, the hand of the governor on the bill passed by the Punjab Assembly is necessary because no bill passed by the Punjab Assembly can come a law without the hand of the governor.
