Social networking platform Twitter has said that Twitter users will soon have to be verified to use TweetDeck. Twitter made the announcement in a tweet and informed the details regarding the updated version of TweetDeck.
According to the tweet, all user searches, lists and columns will be transferred to the new Twitter deck. When users upload a new application for the first time, they will be prompted to transfer these columns.
The tweet stated that the Teams functionality in TweetDeck is temporarily unavailable but will be restored in the coming weeks.
Additionally, users must be verified within 30 days to access TweetDeck. Previously, businesses and news organizations used it for free to easily monitor content.
The company’s move is expected to boost Twitter’s revenue, which has continued to struggle under Elon Musk’s leadership.
Regarding the tweet deck This decision comes after a recent statement by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
According to Elon Musk’s tweet, there will be a limited number of posts for verified and unverified users on the platform to read. This step has been taken by the company to deal with data scraping and system manipulation.
