The construction of a 2 km long dual carriageway is well underway, aimed at providing excellent access to the motorway. All available resources are being fully utilized to ensure the project’s completion within 90 days.
The project briefing highlighted that the modern travel facilities will lead to significant time and fuel savings, while also reducing traffic congestion on GT Road. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, received a briefing from FWO officials about the project.
Despite some delays caused by rain, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed confidence that the project would be completed on time, with dedicated day and night efforts. This development will soon connect Gujranwala with the motorway.
Additionally, a shuttle service has been initiated between two hospitals in Gujranwala to address healthcare needs, and the HR deficiencies in the hospitals will be addressed. The preliminary investigation of the Islamia University Bahawalpur incident has been concluded, and those found responsible will face severe punishment if required.
